It started, on a road-trip over the Summer, when I woke up to a spectacularly beautiful morning in a remote location in Montana called, Goathead Farm.

In the dream I was standing in front of a mirror. I was wearing a t-shirt I did not remember wearing before. It had a few words written across the front. I was in the process of puzzling out what the words said, when I woke up. I immediately wrote them down.

Interestingly enough, the words, NOTHING IS OUT THERE (just like that – all in caps without punctuation of any kind), were a reminder of a truth I already knew, yet often enough forgot/forget. Obviously, I remembered in that timeless moment.

Now, writing this I’ve remembered once again, and perhaps so have you in reading it..

Anyway, a couple of hours later I made a drawing of what I had seen, with one addition: I placed the reversed image of those words as a shadow beneath it. I have replicated that original idea and have set it up for printing. When I wear the shirt, perhaps I am reminding others of a truth of their own, and when I look in the mirror I am reminded all over again, without having to puzzle anything out.-)

With assistance from friends of mine, worldwide, I have duplicated these words, in this configuration, in a few different languages. A few more languages will soon be added. Also, after a couple months of trying to talk myself out of proceeding, I finally searched out and connected with an online service called spreadshirt to have shirts, bags, coffee cups, and whatever printed on demand. I chose them because they were able to help me to understand how to connect my interface there, with this site.

Question: If you buy one of these imprinted items, will I make money? Yes, of course I will.

You need reasons for that?

Okay: I like money ‘ cause I like buying things.-)

Still, money is simply not my driving force. It never has been. Money comes, or it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, I look for new avenues, new ways to open myself up to cash flowing in my direction. Sometimes I take a wrong turn or two, but ultimately the path is clear.

As such, I live in grateful expectation.

Selling items with these particular words printed on them, is a service of sorts. People can take advantage of the service, or not. There is, of course, a trade involved… Again, I will make few dollars, but also I want to see others wearing one of these shirts, drinking from one of the mugs, or having a mouse-pad so I will be constantly reminded of what I know to be true. Yes, it is selfish.

All I can ever do is make choices; I can say, “yes” to the way things are going… or I can fight against those things.

Offering this idea is one more way of saying, yes!
